During the 18 gala finale of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year competition, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA, Krzysztof\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Folta<\/span><\/span>, received a special award for \u201dthe ability to run a business in conditions of constant change, continuously adapting to the market and the environment for over 30 years\u201d.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>
\n<\/p>\n

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is an international initiative promoting the best entrepreneurs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The competition is organised worldwide by the company EY (formerly<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Ernst&Young<\/span>) since 1986 which is partaken by almost 60 countries.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The first Polish edition was held in 2003.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Since then, the initiative has gathered an impressive community around the idea of \u200b\u200bpromoting the achievements of Polish entrepreneurs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>It includes the best Polish companies and other authorities in the business world.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Krzysztof\u00a0<\/span>Folta<\/span>\u00a0found himself in the grand finale of the 18 edition of the competition along with 14 entrepreneurs representing a total of 12 companies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>In the \u201cNew Technologies\/Innovation\u201d category, his competitors were:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Micha\u0142<\/span>\u00a0Mikulski (<\/span>EGZOTech<\/span>) and Jacek\u00a0<\/span>\u015awiderski<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Wirtualna<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Polska<\/span>\u00a0Holding), and the latter was the winner<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The Entrepreneur Of The Year 2020 title went to Igor\u00a0<\/span>Klaja<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 the\u00a0 founder of OTCF S.A., the owner of the 4F and\u00a0<\/span>Outhorn<\/span>\u00a0clothing brands.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>However, before the competition the winner was announced,\u00a0 five unexpected special awards had been granted.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The winners \u2013 apart from the President Krzysztof\u00a0<\/span>Folta<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 were:<\/span>\u202f<\/span>Ewa<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Chodakowska<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>BeBio<\/span>), Jacek\u00a0<\/span>\u015awiderski<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Wirtualna<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Polska<\/span>),\u00a0<\/span>Micha\u0142<\/span>\u00a0Mikulski (<\/span>EGZOTech<\/span>) and\u00a0<\/span>Leszek<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Gierszewski<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>Drutex<\/span>).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Thank you for the award.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>It is a genuine and really pleasant surprise for me.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>It is the crowning achievement of my over 30-letniej years of business activity, and in particular of the efforts I and the entire TIM\u2019s team have made in the last 10 years \u2013 says Krzysztof\u00a0<\/span>Folta<\/span>, the President of the Management Board of TIM SA.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 It was in 2011 when we started the e-commerce adventure, which today constitutes the source of 70% of the company\u2019s turnover.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>I am extremely pleased that the jury made up of such outstanding business practitioners have appreciated this success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Thank you to all colleagues, as also business partners and customers.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>TIM would not have achieved today\u2019s position without them and so this award wouldn\u2019t have found me \u2013 adds Krzysztof\u00a0<\/span>Folta<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
