This means an increase of 64.8% and 50.1% respectively compared to the corresponding periods of 2021.

The estimated online sales conducted directly by customers reached PLN 120.9 million (+67.4% YoY) in March 2022 and PLN 275.4 million (+55.3% YoY) in the whole first quarter of 2022.

“Our estimated sales revenue after the first quarter of 2022 exceeded the level we achieved in the first four months of 2021 (PLN 363 million). We are less than PLN 107 million away from reaching a cumulatively calculated threshold of half a billion zlotys,” said Krzysztof Folta, the CEO of TIM SA. “In terms of sales, March 2022 is a month that we have not come across in the entire history of TIM. Mostly, it is the effect of dynamically growing number of customers. In March 2022, we served nearly 19,000 customers. It is almost the same number as in the entire first quarter of 2021. The revenue from contractors is also growing. In March 2022, they generated 48% of our sales compared to 35% in March 2021,” he added.

The situation on Polish and global markets being a consequence of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine has become extremely changeable and even more difficult to predict. Rising raw material and energy prices have translated into a very large scale of increases for TIM suppliers. Some of them decided to update their Terms and Conditions, adjusting them to the changing market situation. This, obviously, has also an effect on the price conditions that TIM can offer its customers.

“Our purchasing and warehouse management policy allows us to provide TIM customers with uninterrupted access to a very wide range of products. This is one of our most important advantages over our competition. Products price increases are a consequence of increases in the entire supply chain,” emphasized Krzysztof Folta. “I would also like to say that TIM SA does not operate outside of Poland and our revenues are almost one hundred per cent from sales of products in Poland. That is why, the situation behind the eastern border of Poland does not affect TIM’s business activities. We are also continuing our earlier projects – the 3LP company’s IPO process and the TIM’s 2022+ strategy. The effects of the second one are likely to be presented in May 2022,” he predicts.

The company will announce separate and consolidated results for 2021 on 26th April 2022 and report for the first quarter of 2022 on 25 May 2022.

Early estimates show that the revenues at TIM SA from online sales conducted directly by customers amounted to PLN 175.5 million in March 2022 and PLN 393.4 million in the whole first quarter of 2022.
