2024 TIM of Santas – anniversary edition of our holiday season’s charity to support local communities
The 5th edition of the TIM of Santas Charity Campaign has pooled PLN 333,000 to support 20 local charities and organisations. This year’s donation pool was made possible by the commitment of TIM and its 53 business partners in the electrical goods industry. Who the donations will go to will be decided by a popular vote of TIM’s customers and other actors.
This year’s edition of the TIM of Santas follows our special tradition which began five years ago, when TIM decided to do away with Christmas gifts and calendars for the customers in lieu of donating funds in actual support for local institutions.
The main idea behind this was the commitment of TIM.pl suppliers and customers for proactive participation in the Charity Campaign. Business partners support the TIM of Santas by donating to increase the budget of our charity, while customers and Internet users choose the charity beneficiaries by voting on TIM.pl/TIMmikolajow2024.
The support is getting bigger
For the past five years, the TIM of Santas has been growing rapidly as a broad-based charity driven by cooperation with TIM’s business partners. In the first edition, seven suppliers joined the Charity Campaign; today, there are more than fifty, a testament to the growing support for and reach of our initiative. With the joint commitment of TIM and its partners, the total value of donations this year and to date for institutions operating hospices, daycare centres, foundations, animal shelters or sports clubs is more than 1,7 million PLN.
Last year’s edition of the Charity Campaign made history, breaking records in the size of the donation budget and number of institutions supported; it raised the bar of the level of commitment by business partners and Internet users.
This year’s donation budget of 333 000 PLN will provide each of 17 organisations with PLN 18,000 in financial support. There are three more donations of PLN 9,000 each for organisations which will not rank first in their regions but win the nationwide ranking.

Internet users will vote who gets the aid
A centrepiece of the TIM of Santas is an online vote held between the 5th and the 29th of November 2024. It is mainly TIM’s customers who will decide who will receive the financial support – each of them, assigned to one of TIM’s sales offices, can vote for one of three local institutions to get the donation. Unregistered users are eligible for voting on TIM.pl/TIMmikolajow2024 by choosing one of the organisation in their regions. The list of winning beneficiaries will be announced onDecember the 6th, Saint Nicholas Day.
